I've gotten to know what time of day and in what spot in the front of our house looks best for photographing my art, and try then to make that a goal for completion!
It's a beautiful palette and I'll be watching for what you do next, xoxoKristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09492839042151189777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3986950884355723006.post-41898448186789864062011-11-08T08:49:56.823-05:002011-11-08T08:49:56.823-05:00Hi Janelle, I always take better pics outdoors. tr...Hi Janelle, I always take better pics outdoors. try to use a tripod if you can, to get a sharp image.
xoxojoannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08526850373586288456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3986950884355723006.post-55241780479372798272011-11-07T21:38:41.343-05:002011-11-07T21:38:41.343-05:00What a pretty piece Janelle! Great comparison though, as I've been on the fence as to get a scanner :/ Glad Jessi had some advice for you b/c I'm afraid I've got zero painting knowledge! LOL :D xoxoJoannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08668515263263056415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3986950884355723006.post-14319710547796574422011-11-06T22:37:03.884-05:002011-11-06T22:37:03.884-05:00Hi Janelle - I always get better results with as m...Hi Janelle - I always get better results with as much natural light as possible, even on dark cloudy days. Pearl and glitter paint is hard to scan! I've had very mixed results. As far as "finishing" your painting, it's done when you say it's done. I tend to mix a little acrylic painting in with my watercolor work. I am watercolor challenged so I rarely just use that as the only medium. The watercolor paper can take just about anything you want to throw at it I think!
Happy arting! Jessi xoxJessiVillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16986779828967249367noreply@blogger.com
